Riptides

Riptides is a short story in the Inheritance series. In addition, it features a crossover with the Lord Peter Wimsey novels of Dorothy L. Sayers and also borrows the character of Sophie Dixon from The Jewel in The Crown; in the 1984 film series he was played by Warren Clarke, who then went on to play DS Andy Dalziel. You might like to refer to their suggested reading order, chronology & series information.
Nicola Marlow, at Oxford, finds old ghosts intruding. But a chance encounter in a pub shows her that ghosts may, perhaps, be shared, and so halved.
