The Boys of Summer

The Boys of Summer cover

The Boys of Summer is one in a series of LoPiverse books. You might like to refer to their suggested reading order, chronology & series information.

It is set during the Headingley Test match played between England and Australia at Leeds, July 1981 and dedicated to the English cricket team who successfully defended the Ashes in the summer of 1981 and also to my friends pictured within.

The young Bill Weasley persuades his father to take him to the baffling Muggle sport of cricket. It’s Headingley, 1981, and history is about to be made - if only Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters don’t stop it.

Warnings: The author chooses not to warn.

Advisory: No actual knowledge of the laws of cricket is needed to understand this story; if anything, it would probably be a hindrance.
